Let’s Talk About Periods: A Critical Analysis of Menstrual Inequities in Canada

Menstrual supplies are as essential for managing bodily functions as toilet paper, yet they are not as easily accessible. A research project by a pair of UBC students aims to develop an understanding of menstrual equity and period poverty in Canada. Through a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis, stakeholders involved in a system that perpetuates menstrual inequities and gaps in the current approach to addressing this issue have been identified. The project's ultimate goal is to promote knowledge translation and collaboration among stakeholders to reduce menstrual inequities in Canada.
