About AMS: The AMS is UBC Vancouver’s Student Union and exists to be of service to students. Completely run by elected student leaders, dedicated staff, and volunteers, the AMS exists to make students’ lives safer, healthier, more accessible, affordable, social,  more fun and fulfilling.

‍Our Partnership: Before registering as a non-profit society, Free Periods Canada was a student club operating under the Alma Mater Society of UBC. We received several one-time, project-based funding and in-kind support such as an office space in the AMS Nest during our years as a student club.
