Ishleen Kalra is a social worker within the healthcare field and a dedicated advocate for menstrual equity. With a passion for diminishing the stigma around menstruation and educating the general public, she is dedicated to raising awareness about menstrual health and hygiene through Free Periods Canada. Ishleen has been working with Free Periods Canada since 2017 to improve access to menstrual products, education, and resources. Ishleen is dedicated to reforming the thinking around menstrual equity and hopes to create a stigma free world. When she is not working, she enjoys going out for ice cream, reading a book or taking a walk in the park!
